We run a unique business managing fast-paced online auctions of new products.  We sell a range of technology products and appliances, including notebook computers, LCD TVs and games consoles. 1. Business Development Manager

London based Entertainment Shopping AG is currently seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for the UK subsidiary of our unique, rapidly growing and profitable ecommerce business www.swoopo.co.uk. The Business Development Manager has a great deal of experience in start-up environments with consumer facing products, preferably in the ecommerce arena. The Business Development Manager will be a resourceful, well-connected results-driven internet entrepreneur responsible for the growth and success of our business in the UK.

The position will be responsible for:

• Driving revenue growth particularly through the development of partnerships with other businesses
• Creating and executing strategic and tactical plans to grow traffic, increase monetization, develop online content and foster user participation.
• Building and developing relationships with key suppliers.
• Understanding the needs of the local customer base, specific market requirements and competitive trends and using that knowledge to further the success of projects and operations.
• Creating and proposing new product ideas for the UK site, working closely with the product management team based in Munich
• Being the local go-to person for all team members in the London office

Experience/Qualifications:

• Business development experience, including a track record of successfully establishing and developing online partnerships within in the UK
• An extensive network of contacts within the UK media and online sectors
• Ability to interact with and to develop relationships with a diverse group of personnel ranging from senior executives to middle managers and individual technical contributors.
• Prior web and dot com experience in start-up companies is a must; passion for ecommerce vertical is a plus.
• Experience managing a small team, including recruitment and performance management
• Proven ability to build and grow a fast-paced, dynamic operation.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and project management capabilities.
• Ability to interact with team members in other countries.

2. Intern (m/f) - Praktikant/in Social Marketing

Responsibilities include:
As an Intern Social Marketing you will contribute to developing and spreading the Swoopo brandname within the online community. In particular, you will be involved in expanding our social marketing activities. You will learn how to take advantage of tools that will assist you in key control, analysis and optimization. You will be actively involved in all decision-making processes and reporting. You will also be involved in the search engine optimization of Swoopo and will identify new opportunities and solutions to acquire relevant visitors to our website. You will be a part of our dedicated, very international and fun to work with team and your work will directly contribute to the success of an exciting and innovative company. You will receive 100% openness and support for any of your ideas.
Requirements

• The Internet is your information and communication medium.
• In particular, you're an avid user of social media such as Facebook, Twitter, blogs, social bookmarking etc.
• You have very good communication skills and you are fluent in English.
• A passion for Swoopo's product range.
• You'll be a fan of gadgets and aware of what's hot (and what's not.)

Time frame: as soon as possible for minimum 6 months
Location: Munich, Germany
Remuneration: This is a paid position; salary will be based on relevant skills and experience

3. Working Student (m/f) Product Management (Focus: Korea)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support of further development of our Korean Platform
• Communication with our Korean Team
• Support of Test Scenarios
• Support of generation and quality assurance of content

Your profile:

• You are fluent in Korean (ideally, Korean is your mother tongue) as well as English
• The internet is your information and communication medium
• You have very good communication skills
• A passion for Swoopo's product range
• You'll be a fan of gadgets and aware of what's hot (and what's not)
